Update: Relocation

 Greetings.

Well, many know I been wanting to move out of the area I am currently in. A lot has happened since I quit my job up at Meijer last Wednesday. On Friday, Jan 21st, our apartment was deemed unsafe to live in, so I am working with a Program called "Families First" and am in the Process of Emergency Relocation. I never really thought it would happen this way, but it's been highly busy as we look for a place which is open. This is all I can really share for now. Lil Eve is safe and of course with me. 

Winter Semester; Week ; 2022

 I decided not to include a photo with this blog as it has been a long first week. These Semester I am taking Principles of Macroeconomics, Introduction to Psychology and Interpersonal Communication toward my BSW. All required course to my degree. I am to be transferring to NMU (Northern Michigan University) for the Fall of 2022 Semester. This week has been quite Exhausting as I did not know how much work would be ahead of me this semester. Right now, the most of work is due in Macroeconomics and I already know I messed up my second discussion board because I did not include information, I could Source which means I did not provide proof to my claim. I need to watch for that for the weeks to come cause this Professor does want your work to be a professional as possible.

Explaining Neurodivergence

 Neurodiversity or ND, refers to variations in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention, mood and other mental functions in a non-pathological sense. Neutodiversity is the idea that it’s normal and acceptable for people to have brains that function differently from one another. Rather then thinking there is something wrong or problematic when some people don’t operate similarly to others, neurodiversity recognizes that both brain function and behavioral traits are simply indicators of how diverse the human population is. The term Neurodiversity was coined by sociologist Judy Singer, who is autistic, in 1997. Neurodiversity can be broken down into two categories of people: those who are neurotypical and those who are neurodivergent.

Neurodivergence is the term for people who’s brain functions differently in one or more ways then is considered standard or typical. There are many different ways that neurodivergence manifests, ranging from very mild way that most people would never notice to more obvious ways that led to a person behaving differently than is standard in our society.

Yule 2021

 

Now Yule is over I thought I would do a short blog update. This is Eves second Christmas, her first was when she was just 3 months old. Watching her open gifts this year just filled my heart with joy. She is growing so fast, and it’s crazy to see. She is now in a Toddler bed with a new Puppy Pillow & Red Plaid Blanket from her Grandma. Auntie got her two Stuffies she just loves (a little wolf & a Blue Unicorn with wings), and mama got her a Frozen Spa Set which I notice she was looking at. Two of mamas favorite gifts is the Red Wine 🍷 I got from my Mom and my Coffee Gift Set. 

This is my minor Post this holiday season as well as a short little update.

Snow Storm 12/10

 Last Night at around 9PM the Snow Storm started hitting here in Escanaba. We are now stuck in an Hotel and really can’t get any where. This isn’t supposed to stop till 7PM tonight and really don’t know what they predict in amount. This is really crazy but at least we’re safe and warm. 

I don’t work till Monday and am working on the last of my school work for the semester. We stayed in the Hotel all weekend and will be checking out Monday Morning. 

The insanity of this storm makes the Holidays way more stressful with the extra money spent to keep us Safe.

End of Semester

 

Today is December 1st of 2021, and I am reaching the end of my first semester in college. It is shocking on how fast the Fall Semester went. I am on my way to my University transfer after next Semester I am looking forward to the future. 

My Little Eve is already Excited for Yule as the weather in my area is changing quickly. As we hit a Snow Storm on our way back from dropping my sister back off at their dorm Sunday. I now have very little time to prepare from the coming holiday and I have not been very productive when i comes to it as I should be. 

I am very much ready to find a New Apartment and live in a new area with my Little Princess. I am in the process of my search. On Campus University Family Apartments are quite expensive and I dont 

know if my Student loans and Grants/Scholarships will cover it for the Entire year. This is another thing I am in the process of checking. I find being prepared as I wasn't before is very much needed now that I am a Mother. My daughter deserve stability. 

Updates will coming in due time and I will be Posting an University Commitment Blog when the time comes.

12 Month: Eve Update

 

On November 3rd, Lil Eve meet with her Pediatrics Team for her 12 Month Wellness Check up. She now weighs 20.5 Lbs. and is 2 feet 5.8 inches in height. We were also able to get a Referral to a Pediatrics Orthopedics closer to home. If you haven't been following since Eve was born, She has Hip Dysphoria in her Left leg, meaning it is in the Wrong spot making her left leg shorter then her right. This possible will give her a Medical Delay on walking due to her not wanting to place uncomfortable pressure on her left leg. If not treated early it can cause Pain in this hip and Early arthritis as well.

Her Team of Doctors and Nurses are amazing though and keep a listening ear on all my concerns on her physical Development as well as all other milestones. 

She also got 4 Vaccinations while at this Visit in which caused her to be Moody and Tired for the last few days. Yesterday she was pretty much inconsolable majority of the day. She wouldn't even nap at all and all she wanted to do is cry. We were up on the college campus and I feel bad for my fellow students on campus yesterday

If your reading this I am sorry is my little one disturbed you, I did not expect her to be that upset.
